How affiliate links work on Things To Take On Holiday.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Things To Take On Holiday may contain affiliate links.
This means that if you follow certain links to a retailer and make a purchase, we may receive a commission. This does not increase the price you pay.
Things To Take On Holiday participates in the Amazon Associates programme.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon affiliate links may contain tracking information that allows Amazon to recognise that a visitor reached its website through Things To Take On Holiday.
We do not receive your Amazon account details, payment information or personal order history.
They don’t determine what we recommend.
Some products on this site are things we’ve personally owned, packed or used. Others appear in clearly labelled researched guides.
We may:
recommend a cheaper product over a more expensive one
point out weaknesses or limitations
recommend that you do not buy a product at all
link to products from more than one retailer where appropriate
The question we try to answer is always:
Is this genuinely worth the space in your luggage?
Retail prices, availability and product specifications can change.
A product may therefore cost more or less than when a guide was written, become unavailable, or be replaced by a newer version.
Always check the retailer’s current product information before purchasing.
